Your data stays with you

No account, no cloud, no data collection. Your home's floor plan goes nowhere. In an age when everything streams to a server, that's almost a rebellion.

The floor plan of your home is sensitive. It shows where you sleep, how people move through, where the entrances are. Most apps today would send a scan like that to their server "for syncing", and you'd just hope they treat it decently.

Pásek does it differently — the old-fashioned way. Your data stays on your phone.

Local-first, not cloud-first

The entire property passport — rooms, floor plans, photos, notes, the 3D model — lives in your device's storage. Not on our server, because we don't have a server for everyday use. The app works fully offline, even in a cellar with no signal.

That has a few pleasant consequences:

  • No account. No sign-up, no email, no password to invent. Download, open, measure.
  • No tracking. On the App Store, Pásek carries the "Data Not Collected" label — we collect no data, no analytics, no tracking. That's not a marketing line, it's a commitment to Apple.
  • No hostages. Your data isn't locked in with us. You can export it and take it elsewhere any time.

But what about a backup?

A fair objection: if everything is only on the phone, what if I lose it? That's why Pásek can export the whole passport into a package — you store it wherever you like (iCloud, a drive, email) and import it back any time. The export is the next instalment.

Optional sync between devices will come later as a paid add-on for those who want it. But even then the foundation stays as it is today: offline, no account, with you. Sync will be an option, not a requirement.

Not now, and not in the future, will dark mode, export or access to your own data sit behind a login. That's a principle, not a feature.

Next time: exactly what comes out of Pásek when you hit Export.
